Sapir Academic College announced this week the appointment of Dr. Mohamed Al-Nabari, Mayor of Hura, and Mr. Kher Albaz, Co-director of AJEEC–NISPED as full members of its board of directors. This is the first time the college has included Bedouin members on its board.
The college, located in the north of the Negev, attracts many Bedouin students and has long-standing relationship with the Bedouin community. The college’s announcement stated: “This is another step in turning Sapir into a welcoming home for the Bedouin students current and future.”
