President Trump’s Declaration on Jerusalem: Arab Citizens Response and Jewish-Arab Discourse in Israel

On December 6, 2017, U.S. President Donald Trump reversed longstanding international precedent by recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. In this short update, the Task Force aims to provide an overview of Arab citizens’ response to the announcement, its immediate impact on Jewish-Arab discourse in Israel, and some insights into the possible implications for Israel’s Arab society.
