This document summarizes the conclusions of the Working Group on the Advancement of Arab Education in Israel, which operated at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute in 2006. It is the first in a series of papers planned to present the conclusions and recommendations of a strategic multi-annual project at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute on the advancement of Arab society in Israel, focusing on education, civil society, leadership, and economic and job development.
